Welcome to the River Rumble!
Formerly known as the “Cash Cup”
This is a fun and competitive 2-person, 2-day golf event designed to give everyone a chance to win. With up to 20 teams winning prizes, it’s one of the most exciting formats around!
Day 1: Scramble Format
Scramble means both players hit each shot, and you always play the best one.
Tees are based on age and gender:
Men under 60: White tees
Men 60–69: Gold tees
Men 70+ and Women: Red tees
The 8 best team scores from Day 1 win prizes.
Day 2: Scrumble Format
Teams are flighted into one of four groups (Blue, White, Gold, Red) based on Day 1 scores.
Scrumble means:
Both players tee off.
Choose the best drive.
From there, each player plays their own ball.
Take the best score between the two for each hole.
Tees on Day 2 are determined by your flight, with handicaps applied:
Men 60–69: Move 1 tee forward from assigned flight.
Example: If placed in Blue flight, play from White tees.
Men 70+ and Women: Move 2 tees forward.
Example: If placed in Blue flight, play from Gold tees.
Day 2 Prizes
Top 2 teams in each flight win.
Bonus Prize: The team with the best combined score from Day 1 and Day 2 in each flight also wins.
That means up to 20 teams can win, and yes — a single team could win up to 3 times!
